A flush ceiling light in the wabi-sabi style: a soft oval shell with an off-centre opening that washes light across the ceiling and down the walls. Because it sits flat against the ceiling, it suits rooms where a hanging pendant would come too low.
The shell comes in white or in a muted red, each 45 or 52 cm across. The surface is softly textured, so in the evening the light picks up faint shadows across the curve of the shell.
The fitting is hardwired to 90–260V mains, should be installed by a qualified electrician, and is not dimmable.
